Sherrod Crum is an educator, strategist, and builder of ecosystems for impact.
With over 8 years of experience across curriculum development, program design, and coaching, Sherrod has helped students, social enterprises, and nonprofits translate vision into strategy and strategy into results. He is the founder of Mission Scholarship, a national college access initiative that has supported students in securing over $5 million in scholarships.
Sherrod currently serves as a Youth Program Lead at SEED SPOT, where he travels the country to teach youth entrepreneurship and coaches social enterprises on building scalable, mission-aligned businesses. Through this work, he’s helped launch and lead programming in cities like Phoenix, Denver, Chicago, and St. Louis—guiding young changemakers and early-stage ventures alike.
A proud graduate of UNC Chapel Hill, Sherrod holds a B.S. in Business Administration with a minor in Entrepreneurship. He’s also a licensed real estate professional in Georgia and Illinois, bringing a unique lens to wealth-building, ownership, and economic mobility.
His background includes work as a former BCG (Boston Consulting Group) consultant, curriculum advisor for Simply Vue Academy, and career counselor at UNC Chapel Hill, where he mentored first-generation students navigating college and career planning.
Sherrod created Cubator to fill a gap he saw firsthand—too many youth-focused and community-based organizations are doing incredible work, but lack the tailored curriculum, coaching, and strategy support to scale their impact. Cubator is his answer: a resource for those who serve others.
